Dear Readers,
This is an invitation to unleash your creativity. For those of you who can put your thoughts in verses, rather than in prose, here is a challenge. Given below is a line from Shakespeare’s play Hamlet.
The challenge is to develop this theme into a short poem (10-16 lines). The given quote can come anywhere in the poem.
Please don’t forget to put the line in quotes and cite the reference unless you want to face lawsuits for plagiarism or copyright infringement.
“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so“
Hamlet, William Shakespeare
Please send in your entries to submissionsnitcaa@gmail.com. Selected entries shall be published in coming issues of Kattangal Chimes. And a special prize awaits the best.
